The Government of Gujarat has given Diwali gifts to government employees. The state government has increased the dearness allowance of government employees. The difference of 6 months dearness allowance will be paid.
This evening, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel held a press conference and gave a big Diwali gift to government employees. Nitin Patel said that government employees are standing firm in the Koro epidemic. The festivities are starting a few days later. The state government has then decided that the difference in the 6-month inflation allowance will be paid to government employees.

He said the increase would be effective from July 1, 2019. It will benefit 5.11 lakh employees and 4.5 lakh, pensioners.
This month's salary will be paid with the new inflation allowance and the previous months' payment will be made in phases.
