મુખ્યમંત્રી શ્રી વિજયભાઇ રૂપાણીએ રાજ્યભરના પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષકોના વિશાળ હિતમાં એક મહત્વપૂર્ણ નિર્ણય કર્યો છે.

નાયબ મુખ્યમંત્રી શ્રી નીતિનભાઇ પટેલ અને શિક્ષણ મંત્રી શ્રી ભૂપેન્દ્રસિંહ ચુડાસમાએ આ નિર્ણયની ભૂમિકા આપતાં જણાવ્યું કે, મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રીએ રાજ્યના પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષકોના અગાઉ મળતા પ્રથમ ઉચ્ચત્તર પગાર ધોરણ શિક્ષણ વિભાગના તા.રપ.૬.૨૦૧૯ના પત્રના કારણે બંધ થયેલ હોવાની રજૂઆતોને સંવેદનાપૂર્વક ધ્યાને લઇને મંગળવારે મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રીના અધ્યક્ષસ્થાને તેમજ નાયબ મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રી, શિક્ષણ મંત્રીશ્રી, શિક્ષણ રાજ્યમંત્રી શ્રીમતી વિભાવરીબહેન દવે અને શિક્ષણ વિભાગના સચિવો તથા ઉચ્ચ અધિકારીઓની બેઠકમાં વિશદ ચર્ચા-વિચારણાઓ હાથ ધરી હતી.

મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રીએ આ ફળદાયી ચર્ચા-પરામર્શના અનુસંધાને આપેલી સૂચનાઓ અનુસાર શિક્ષણ-વિભાગનો તા.રપ જૂન-ર૦૧૯નો પત્ર રદ કરવાનો નિર્ણય લેવામાં આવ્યો છે.

તદઅનુસાર હવેથી રાજ્યભરના ૬પ હજાર જેટલા પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષકોને અગાઉની વ્યવસ્થા મુજબ જ પ્રથમ ઉચ્ચત્તર પગાર ધોરણ તરીકે ૪ર૦૦ ગ્રેડ-પે મળતો રહેશે તેમ મંત્રીશ્રીઓએ જણાવ્યું હતું.

અત્રે ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે શિક્ષણ વિભાગે તા.રપ-૬-ર૦૧૯ના પત્રથી પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષકોને પ્રથમ ઉચ્ચત્તર પગાર ધોરણ તરીકે મળતો ૪ર૦૦ ગ્રેડ-પે ને બદલે ર૮૦૦ ગ્રેડ-પે આપવાનો થયેલ પત્ર તા.૧૬ જુલાઇ-ર૦ર૦થી સ્થગિત કરેલો હતો.

મુખ્યમંત્રી શ્રી વિજયભાઇ રૂપાણીની અધ્યક્ષતામાં મંગળવારે મળેલી ઉચ્ચસ્તરીય બેઠકમાં પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષકોની લાંબાગાળાની રજૂઆતો પ્રત્યે સહાનુભૂતિપૂર્વક વિચારણા કરીને આ પત્ર મૂળ અસરથી રદ કરવાની સૂચનાઓ મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રીએ આપી છે.

મંત્રીશ્રીઓએ વધુમાં જણાવ્યું કે, હવે આના પરિણામે પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષકોને ૪ર૦૦ ગ્રેડ-પે પ્રથમ ઉચ્ચત્તર પગાર ધોરણ તરીકે યથાવત રહેશે તેમજ સંબંધિત શિક્ષકોને તેમની મળવાપાત્ર તારીખથી તેનો લાભ આપવામાં આવશે.

મુખ્યમંત્રી શ્રી વિજયભાઇ રૂપાણીએ શિક્ષણ વિભાગને નાણાં વિભાગ તથા સામાન્ય વહીવટ વિભાગ સાથે પરામર્શમાં રહિને આ નિર્ણયના સત્વરે અમલ માટેની જરૂરી કાયદાકીય-વહીવટી પ્રક્રિયાઓ પૂર્ણ કરવાની સૂચનાઓ પણ આપી છે તેમ નાયબ મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રી, શિક્ષણ મંત્રીશ્રીએ ઉમેર્યુ હતું.
