A big announcement has been made by the Gujarat Government regarding the increasing number of coronary infections in the state. If any Government Employee is infected with Corona, they will be given 10 days leave.
Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has taken an important and sensitive decision for the state government employees - fixed salary employees and contract employees. Such employees will be given a special 10-day leave if they become infected.
The Chief Minister has also decided that even if the leave of a government employee is not credited, he will be given this special leave. The benefit of this 10 days leave will be given to fixed salary employees and all types of contract employees with salary.

The recent decision to give mass promotion to the students studying in Std. 1 to 8 in the state has been announced by holding a press conference on 15/04/2021 due to the recent outbreak of Coronavirus (Covid-19) in the state.
Implementation of instructions given in the declaration dated 21/09/2019 from GH / SH / 83 / PRE / 122013 / single Fle s / K is postponed till the current academic year 2020-21, as per this decision of the government due to widespread spread of corona in the state.
All students studying in Std. 1 to 8 have been allowed to take my promotion to the next standard for the academic year 2020-2021.
Students are currently being educated through various mediums under Home Learning which will continue in the future as well. In addition, students will be assessed from time to time as part of their continuous assessment work as well as remedial work, but no student will have to fail based on the results of this assessment.
An incidental detailed notice in this regard should be issued by GCERT Gandhinagar. By order of the Governor of Gujarat and in his name.

Under the umbrella of GCERT, there are now 27 DIETs
(District Institute of Education and Training) functional in 33 Districts.These
DIETs impart pre-service and in-service training to the primary teachers of the
State.
There are seven branches namely Pre-service Teacher
Education (PSTE), Work Experience (WE), District Resource Unit (DRU),
Curriculum Material Development & Evaluation (CMDE), Educational Technology
(ET), In-service Field interaction Innovation & Co-ordination (IFIC) and
Planning & Management PM functioning in these DIETs.These DIETs are well
equipped with qualified and experienced academic and administrative staff.
