The Gujarat government will hire 3,300 education assistants in the near future.  In which 1,300 Vidya Sahayaks will be recruited in Std. 1 to 5 and 2000 in Std. 6 to 8. Candidates who pass the TET will benefit.  This was announced by the Minister of Education, Jitu Waghani.
